Today’s mother/daughter session was one I was really looking forward to! I was able to photograph two sweet ladies, Lauren & Christi who I work with at school. They have stunning daughters as you will see below! Lauren also brought her mother, and grandmother so there were 4 generations of mothers and daughters. Her grandmother is about to turn 93! It was very special! Look out for next weekend’s sessions as well.

I’ve started something new this year. Mother / Daughter sessions and makeover events! These are so much fun and I am now offering them monthly. Last Saturday I had my first session and we had a wonderful time playing with makeup, having snacks, talking, and taking fun photos of these beautiful mother/daughter pairs. I have always loved makeup and love doing other people’s makeup, so I thought why not incorporate this somehow into my photo sessions? I have recently become a Mary Kay consultant and I love sharing skin care regimens and makeup techniques with other women. The day started with some facials, then makeovers for the ladies. The younger girls enjoyed being dolled up with lip gloss and a little blush. We then went outside near my home to do a mini portrait session. It couldn’t have been a more perfect day! Look out for several more sessions coming soon. I have one planned for tomorrow morning and I can’t wait! Here are a few of my favorites from last Saturday.
